Each plant-based capsule (VegeCaps) contains 530 mg of organic turmeric, with 65 mg of active curcuminoids per daily dose (3 capsules). Curcuminoids are polyphenolic compounds naturally found in turmeric. The main one is curcumin, responsible for the intense yellow color and studied for its antioxidant properties. They are considered the primary contributors to turmeric’s beneficial effects.
Although the addition of black pepper (containing piperine) may enhance curcumin absorption, whole-root turmeric maintains a natural synergistic effect among all its phytonutrients. This makes it suitable even without piperine, especially for those who prefer gentle or non-irritating formulations.
