Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus) – wild Indian asparagus, a classic Ayurvedic plant with a long tradition.
*Traditional use, not a medical claim
Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus) is one of the most renowned plants in Ayurveda, also known in Europe. In classical Ayurvedic texts, Shatavari is praised as a Rasayana – a plant traditionally valued especially for women. The literal translation of its Sanskrit name is “she who possesses a hundred men”.
The versatile root, with its sweet and bitter taste, is described in Ayurveda as cooling Pitta, reducing Vata, and nourishing Kapha. Shatavari is also part of various classical Rasayana formulations, for example in Maharishi Ayurveda.
Each jar contains 100 VegeCaps with 450 mg of pure Shatavari root powder. The capsules are plant-based and vegan.
