Hydrolysed collagen has been enzymatically broken down into smaller peptides. These peptides are highly soluble and easily digestible, which is why this form is often referred to as “pre-digested” collagen.

Bovine collagen provides mainly type I and III collagen, the predominant forms found in the human body.
