Amino acids: building blocks of cells
In our body, cells are constantly being broken down and replaced with new ones. Essential nutrients that sustain our life, such as proteins and amino acids, are not only vital components of our diet but can be considered the true 'building blocks' of our entire organism. Proteins are essential for the continuous renewal of cells, muscle building, physical support, enzymatic function, and much more. The term 'protein' is derived from the Greek word 'protos,' meaning 'primary,' signifying that it is the most important dietary component of human nutrition. Proteins are composed of amino acids.

Why amino acids?
Amino acids, like all supplements, do not replace a balanced diet but complement it. One of the beliefs of past years was that amino acids were useful only for supporting intense physical and muscular activity. However, it was later discovered that their use in the daily diet, even for individuals who are not necessarily athletes, brings benefits.

Amino Essential: 8 + 1

Amino Essential consists of 9 amino acids, including 8 essential amino acids and 1 (histidine) semi-essential amino acid. Histidine is indeed the only essential amino acid (meaning it cannot be produced by our body) during infancy and semi-essential in adulthood (meaning that, if necessary, the body can produce a limited amount of it). Here is the list of the 9 amino acids in Amino Essential: Histidine, Isoleucine, Leucine, Lysine, Methionine, Phenylalanine, Threonine, Tryptophan, and Valine.

Amino Essential: 100% vegan
Amino Essential is a completely vegan supplement. The 9 amino acids it contains are of exclusively plant origin. Their free form makes them more bioavailable and readily absorbed. The capsule shell is made of cellulose, 100% plant-based.
